Characteristics

A fairly long and demanding traverse along the bands of Punta Anna.

Arrival

Directions from Cortina to the Angelo Dibona car park as with the Lipella via ferrata or to Pie Tofana and then take the cable car to Pomedes.

Boarding

Access from the Dibona car park 700 m or from the end of the Pomedes cable car 350 m or from the direction of Tofana Rozes - the via ferrata is accessible in both directions.

Exit

Same as the approach, just in reverse... :-)

Interesting facts

The via ferrata had a reputation for being poorly maintained and neglected, but as of July 2020 it was in excellent condition, with the belays repaired and sufficient. It is estimated that there are no safety ropes on a third of the via ferrata, but if you have a sure footing and are not afraid of heights, you can easily go all the way through it without using the rope... :-)
